Welcome to Blue Sky Dynamics

We are 5 guys who share a passion for Mopars new and old

The Motley Crew!
Chad, Doug, Chris, John and Robert

John Hopper

John started working on cars well before he could drive. John's vast experience in building cars comes from years of designing, fabricating and building them. John is an accomplished welder and metal fabricate in addition to his automobile skills. He also has many years experience in the electrical and electronics fields.

John is currently working on a blown HEMI for his 1955 Dodge Truck.

John is married to Karen and their son Kenny was born in Dec of 2006

Chris Steenstra

Chris has been into cars since he was 14. From working on his own vehicles over the years to the time he spent in an auto repair shop.

In addition to his automotive experience, Chris is an accomplished welder and metalworker. He also has many years experience in electronics.

Chris has a 1968 Plymouth Satellite that he is in process of turning into a Roadrunner Clone.

Robert Bernstein

Robert started with electronics when he was 14 and started working with cars when he was 16.

Robert got his first Mopar when he was 16, a 1969 Plymouth Barracuda. It was the car he grew up with as his parents bought it new in 1968 with the 318 engine. Robert replaced the 318 along with the rest of the drive train when he was 19 to a 340 he built for mild racing/street use.

Now a 2003 5.7 Hemi from a 1500 Dodge Ram is in the Barracuda. This will be a great street car when he is done.

Robert has been married to Debby since Oct of 1986. He has twin daughters Stacy and Denise who were born in Sep of 1992.

Doug Snyder

If it has an engine - Doug is fascinated by it. A life long passion for all things that "go" has driven Doug to study and put into practice what he has learned. After high school, Doug spent 6 years in the Navy studying mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering while serving as a Nuclear Reactor Operator on submarines. In his college years, he studied business and earned a private pilot's license.

Doug was introduced to the world of Mopars by his fiancé Melissa. She always admired Mopars and bought him his first, a 1965 Dodge Dart GT, as a present. Doug is in the process of improving his daily driver with a couple of "commuter enhancements" including converting from a slant 6 to a 340 small block, large bolt pattern disc brakes.

Chad Lanie

Chad started in the construction industry. He is good with his hands and is well suited for metalworking. He also has an electronics background along with his construction experience. Chad is well on his way to becoming a talented builder and fabricator.
